How the Maobadis became relevant in West Bengal Politics?

The answer of this question actually occupies a very specific importance in West Bengal politics. The Maoists are a force who for any peculiar cause , may be money or it may be imbuing a deep sense of fear among people which is conducive of channelising terror money and arms , kill general people ,police and jawans either using guerrilla tactics or by laying landmines. Just think about it, whom they kill mercilessly are the brave army men or general police for whom we are proud and for whom Government arranges felicitation ceremonies and reward them with chakras, stars or memoirs.

We are also proud for the fact that the same party which sends battalions from center to thwart the Maoist design, are in coalition with a party that have open and clandestine connection, nexus and collusion with Maoists. Everyone knows TMC is hand in glove with Maoists.Maoists are the channels of arms and ammunition supply which goes to TMC cadres. This is possible only in India where a Central party is directly or indirectly strengthening the hand of a violent reactionary force shamelessly. They are simply treasonary forces and voting for the coalition would be just tantamount to treason.

Some says the lack of development is the cause of Maobadi infestation in the effected areas. I never can understand that how manslaughter and landmine blast would lead to development. But these nonsensical babbles are aired into public domain.

I want to ask just another question today. TMC has fully exploited the sentimental bond of farmers with their land in question of Singur and Nandigram. Yes, land is a very sacred for farmers and if any party squeezes this affection ,they would get a lot of juice. I was just thinking about a bengali word,' chashbas'. The word means agriculture ,but the word 'bas' does not only mean a home or room. It means leaving and leaving with dignity. Agriculture is always of prime concern, but it can not alone today make the provision of a dignified leaving. Small and marginal farmers of villages know that very well. Thats why we should look forward to something more ,like industry or manufacturing ,for fullfilling our needs and for a fruitfully satisfying leaving.

We were on right path. We knew people would understand our concerns for them. But a mileage hankering opportunistic party of melodramatists tried to make a song and dance. They have a one trick pony, the four hundred acres land of Singur. They want vote of eight crore people showing that four hundred acres. Are we kidding? How the Maobadis became relevant in West Bengal Politics?
I hope a historian answers your question because the average Joe doesn't keep track of that. Whomever gives you an answer, have them cite their references. So much junk is made up here.
