I've had the Razr since its launch date on 11/11/11 %26amp; I couldn't have been happier with this. I've owned many phones including the Samsung Captivate, OG Droid, HTC Inspire, HTC Thunderbolt, Moto Triumph %26amp; now this one. It's by far the best phone I've ever seen/experienced. I also weighted the pros/cons of waiting for the Nexus. The Razr promises an upgrade to Android 4.0 early next year %26amp; in my opinion, let the Nexus get all its kinks worked out before they load my Razr with it. I'd rather them test it %26amp; get it running right before they just ship the phone out really fast with it installed. They're pushing the release dates back on the Nexus...latest date has been the 9th but rumors are around that it may be pushed back even further. Honestly I'd never own another Samsung device again, all the ones I've played around with felt really cheap %26amp; plasticy. This Razr, however feels awesome in hand, you get the feeling of great build quality %26amp; you just can't stop looking at how thin this thing is! I remembered when the Droid X came out %26amp; drooled over how thin that phone was, but comparing my Razr to a friend's X its alot slimmer than the X is!
The Razr's specs are pretty on par with the Nexus besides it's software.
As far as the Black/White issue goes, I believe the white will be in stores in the next few days. Maybe call a Verizon store %26amp; ask to see if they know a specific date. Last I heard it was going to be on the 11th.Verizon nexus prime droid razr white or black?
I went to the Samsung Store at Time Warner Center in NYC to check out the Galaxy Nexus before getting my black DROID RAZR鈩? GN has no Micro SD card functionality for storing music, videos, movies, etc; everything is stored to the phone's internal memory. Yes, GN has HD LCD but, you'll only notice the difference if you put the RAZR %26amp; GN side-by-side and view with a large magnifying glass. Also, the GN LCD is only larger by about 2 centimeters on length and width; really insignificant, I compared the GN screen size to my old DROID X (4.3" like the RAZR) and really couldn't justify getting the GN over the RAZR based on screen size. DROID RAZR鈩?does not have a removable battery but, I haven't had battery life be an issue at all; unlike the fiasco of the Thunderbolt which I had for two weeks back in May and the battery sucked (returned it)!! You have to decide what's best for you, though. Just remember, anytime a phone's release is delayed (and, delayed), it's just a precursor to technical issues. Black vs White?? White RAZR is not completely white (like iPhone white, Fascinate white or Galaxy S II white); I almost held out for the white but, glad I didn't. Lastly, the Lapdock 100 for the RAZR is cool as hell, already tried Netflix on it; you won't get that with the GN.
Hope it helps
