How Wrestlemania 27 could be better +WQ?

WrestleMania XXVII is right around the corner and with 1 Raw and 0 SmackDowns left, the card is pretty much set. Triple H vs. Undertaker is bound to be a great match as it features the company's two most iconic stars. Orton vs. Punk should be a great match with two very good superstars going one-on-one. Then you have Alberto Del Rio... he's been with the company for less than a year and he's already getting a World Title match in the main event of WrestleMania. But that's what's already been set up. So what else could WWE do to make the best pay-per-view of the year even better?



Here's what: First, there needs to be more specialty matches. The only one that there really is right now is the No Holds Barred between 'Taker and HHH. Why not add a steel cage match? Or a ladder match? It would exciting to see Randy Orton battle CM Punk inside of a steel cage, especially since all of Nexus is banned from ringside. Plus, The Viper is ruthless and these two obviously have a lot of hatred for each other. Inside of a cage, this match could potentially steal the show. They could also have a ladder match too. The Intercontinental Championship is not on the line as of yet at 'Mania. Since there's most likely no more Money in the Bank at this pay-per-view, why not replace it with a ladder match for the title. Here's a list of potential competitors in this match: Wade Barrett (obviously), Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre, Chris Masters, Jack Swagger, and Christian.



Secondly, there is so much wasted talent not on the card yet. While WWE could add an extra match or two on tomorrow night's Raw or throw in a last minute bout at WrestleMania itself, it doesn't look like we'll see too many more matches added to the card at this point. The aforementioned competitors in my ladder match are the prime example of this. Those guys are so talented and definitely deserve a spot on the card at this year's event. Some examples of good Superstars who are aren't on this year's card are: Big Show, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre, Chris Masters, Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, Kane, Corre members, New Nexus members (other than Punk), and Ted DiBiase. Most of these guys are mid to upper-mid carders right now. Christian was even in the main event on the last three SmackDowns and he's still not on the card!



Third, John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler shouldn't be in a mixed tag match at a pay-per-view of this caliber. Especially in a match that involves Snooki. We all saw the great matches in the Morrison/Sheamus feud. And we all remember the Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler bout at Night of Champions. They should just have Morrison and Ziggler square off one-on-one and have Trish and Snooki face LayCool in a separate match.



Fourth, have an episode of SmackDown the Friday before WrestleMania! If you haven't heard yet, there won't be one this coming Friday. It would be a great way to hype up the biggest event of the year and throw some last minute matches on the card. Many of the Superstars who aren't on the card that I mentioned before are on Smackdown. So why not add them to matches on their brand's show. They really should've put them on the card already if they're not even going to have SmackDown this week. I also think that the Edge/Del Rio feud needs a just a bit more build up.



Fifth, add Christian to the World Heavyweight Title Match. You'd have to remove him from my IC Title Ladder Match though, but oh well. He is 37 years old and has never won a World Title before. He definitely deserves a shot especially after all he's done with the company. He's so underrated and receives a huge pop every time he comes out. Also, he's been feuding with Del Rio in recent weeks. His friendship and tag team with Edge is just another reason to toss him into the mix at WrestleMania. This potential match could be the match of the year if they just made it a Triple Threat TLC Match for the title. This would be a great way to really give him what he deserves. They don't need to give the belt to him multiple times, they just need to give him an opportunity at the title and just one reign.



Finally, every championship should be on the line. This may not be Night of Champions, but nonetheless, it's the best pay-per-view of the year. The two World Titles are obviously on the line. And the US Title is on the line. We are left with the Intercontinental Title, the WWE Tag Team Titles, and the Diva's Title. I'm mentioning it once again, but you have the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match I previously suggested. For the Tag Team Titles, you could have Big Show %26amp; Kane vs. Gabriel %26amp; Slater. And maybe have a Battle Royal for the Diva's Title. If not, you could have Awesome Kong make her debut and face off against Eve one-on-one.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said there. The thing that annoys me most is the John Morrison/Dolph Ziggler match....that has the potential to be awesome if it was just those 2 in a singles match, maybe make it a cage match (with escape over the tope of the cage only rules) or something but putting them in an intergender match with Snooki just feels like it's going to be a throwaway comedy segement and nothing more.



WQ: Christian, I hope. There's maybe no guy in WWE more deserving of a world title at the moment, he's paid his dues 100 times over.

You got some ideas there. There might be a tag title match and a divas title match added on Raw, but that's about it. Unless Christian gets added to the World Title match.



WQ: Christian, he will face Alberto Del Rio for the title at Extreme Rules in an Extreme Rules Match.
